I had been fascinated by dogs for as long as I can remember—learning about breeds, reading dog magazines, and following the people behind them.

Trading hockey fight tapes taught me video editing. When podcasts came along, everything connected: dogs, long-form interviews, editing, and learning from people with real experience.
